Baby-Led Weaning Healthy Cakes (4 October 2021)
These healthy cakes are great for baby-led weaning, as a finger food or toddler’s breakfast or snack. We made these healthy cakes using dragon fruits, pumpkin and spinach, an easy way to incorporate fruits and vegetable into your little one’s diet.
- 50g of flour
- 50ml of formula milk
- 1 egg yolk
- Variation :
- For pumpkin : Steam and mash 50 g pumpkin
- For dragon fruits : Blend 2 slices of dragon fruit with some water into puree, use 50g of the puree
- For Spinach : Blanch spinach for few minutes, blend it with some water, sieve the juice. Use 50g of the spinach juice.
Combine all ingredients and steam into smooth batter, pour into greased mould (we used We Might Be Tiny Frosties). Steam for 15 minutes.
