Chicken Floss (8mth+)
Chicken Floss is delicious eaten as it is, or as a companion to porridge, or stuffed into sandwich. In fact they are the best comfort food for baby too. Make your own homemade chicken floss with minimal seasoning with us now!
- 300g of boneless chicken breast
- 5 gloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of soya sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of dark soya sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- A dash of pepper (optional)
Place chicken breast, garlic and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Turn off heat, remove the chicken from the pot and set aside to cool. Once the chicken is cool enough to handle, tear the meat into thin shreds with two forks. Heat a non-stick pan, add chicken into the pan with seasoning. Keep stirring and tossing until fully dry over low heat, about 10 – 15 minutes. Remove heat and store in an airtight container for up to one week.
(For baby version chicken floss, process the chicken floss in a blender until desired texture.)
